Fabrica de Calzado Excelsior, Mexico

The Excelsior Shoe Factory was located on the present corner of Benjamin Franklin and Carlos B. Zetina Streets (named after the man who founded Excelsior in 1902 who later became a senator, as well as presidential candidate) in the Tacubaya district of Mexico City.

Salviati made a mosaic in the crescent over the entryway representing Labor.

Today, the Universidad La Salle stands in the location.

Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Roscommon

Irish architects Walter Glynn Doolin and Patrick J. Kilgallin designed this church that was begun in 1897 and opened in 1903.

The east-facing facade contains Salviati mosaics including one showing local bishop Laurence Gillooly (holding a map) on the tympanum above the main door. The others depict the Martyrdom of St. Laurence, St. Vincent de Paul and the Sacred Heart.

The sanctuary walls are covered by mosaic angels and the Evangelists. Between the windows, figures of the founding fathers of most of the major European religious orders can be seen.

The floor of the church is also paved in mosaics.

Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Yalta

Not to be confused with numerous churches of the same name, this one is located in the Crimean city of Yalta in the Ukraine and was constructed 1891-1902 in honor of the late Tsar Alexander II.

The mosaic image of the cathedral's namesake saint on the south-eastern side of the building was manufactured by Salviati.
